These are just some collages I threw together of this week's subject: Russian Nesting Dolls. I thought that they were colorful and a bit whimsical so I decided to include it in my concentration series. I wanted to do a secondary color scheme for this group of photos, and I think it turned out pretty well. I'll probably retake these pictures over the weekend, but I'll keep them as back ups if I don't manage to take any more.
Glad to see in depth exploration of your ideas through sketches and photographs. The colr is working well in your images. I might try to create more variety when collaging. For example you could add a photo of the Russian dolls lined up and show repetition and figure ground.
